Thanks to all who came out to the sold out cast & crew screenings in Sydney, Nova Scotia! Over 450 people were willing to pay $15 per ticket to see one of the best 2011 horror movies called The Legend of the Psychotic Forest Ranger last weekend. Not only did we raise nearly all of the money we were looking for to Send The Ranger To Camp, We met some big horror fans who gave us some great reviews.

Fan Review: Being a huge fan and critic of horror films, this movie hit every mark. A very well rounded and executed storyline. An instant classic!
- Completely unbiased review from the director’s good friend Chris Townsend (also in that picture above)
Ok so maybe that review was a little bit biased – but when people hear that we only had $50,000 to film this entire movie, they go ape-shit, they TOTALLY flip.
Michael Bay spends more than that on plastic forks when he makes a movie! If we could film this on 50k, imagine what we could do with a real budget!

In the mean while, here are a few of the notes we’ve been sent by people in attendance:
Amazing. Congrats all involved on a fantastic throwback to 80s horror. I bow to all in awe.
-Matt Boyd, a guy that saw it.
Anyone have 2 tickets for the show tonight??
-Jimmy Rankin, a local fiddler/singer who wanted to see it.
If you’re looking for a refreshing break from all the cookie cutter movies that are being pumped out from Hollywood, look no further then The Legend of The Psychotic Forrest Ranger! From the opening scene to the closing credits, this movie provides the perfect blend of Horror and Comedy. Complete with some memorable catch phrases, one liners, and of course some blood and gore. This movie is Defiantly deemed worthy of an instant Cult Classic film.
-Adam Marks, a random person not affiliated with anyone, who actually liked it.
The entire movie is one giant wink at the audience, and in some places, it can get a little annoying. The “teenage” actors, for example, deliver every line in a way that made me expect them to turn around and look at me to see if I was laughing.
-Katrina Nicholson, a person who didn’t particularly like the movie.
best movie i ever saw!!!
-The director’s 14 year old newphew Michael Donovan
THAT MOVIE WAS INSANE LOVED IT!!! The ranger better return!!
-Sean MacIntyre, a guy who wants to see more.
I just wanted to say congrats on the film, absolute success and can see a cult following forming (myself included)!!!! Cheers on the success, you deserve it!!!

BIO:
Full of plot holes & cheesy dialogue, The Legend of the Psychotic Forest Ranger is a B horror movie straight out of the 80s. After taking a wrong turn down an abandoned road, the Jock, the Joker, the Blond Bimbo & the Paranoid Brunette run out of gas and find themselves stranded in the middle of the woods. What a total drag. What was that noise? Why is everyone vanishing? Is it all one of Bradley’s dumb practical jokes, or could The Legend be true? Your compass can’t help you in these woods.
From Nova Scotia brother/sister filmmaking duo Brad Mills and Jacquelyn Mills comes one of the best horror films of 2011 – The Legend of the Psychotic Forest Ranger, an unforgiving campy throwback to the B teen horror flicks of the 1980s.
